Jardin de la Lune is a scented soy wax candle, hand-poured in East London.
The candle is inspired by the gardens of Grand Trianon, Versailles, where Louis XIV planted thousands of tuberoses to fill the air with their intoxicating scent at night.
The candle combines the deep and sensual notes of tuberose with the fresh and fruity accents of blackberry leaf and bergamot, and the smoky and woody nuances of cade.
Jardin de la Lune is a luxurious and elegant candle that evokes the romance and opulence of the French court.
Crafted from 100% soy wax and with a natural, undyed cotton/linen wick, this candle is infused with ethically-sourced essential and botanical oils. A minimalist amber glass jar encases the product which burns for an estimated 35-40 hours. All Earl Of East candles are vegan, never tested on animals, free from phthalates and GMO-free.

Earl of East is a London-based brand that creates home fragrance and self-care products inspired by travel and memory. Founded in 2014 by Niko Dafkos and Paul Firmin, Earl of East started as a hobby project at a local market in Hackney, where they sold vintage furniture and handmade candles.

Since those humble beginnings their passion has ensured that Earl of East has grown from a small market stall to a global brand.

Made with care

Hand-Poured Candles

Each candle is hand-poured in Earl of East's London studio using eco-soy (non-GMO) wax that is grown and harvested in the US, but manufactured in the UK.

The candles are scented with both essential and botanical oils. Essential oils are naturally derived, while botanical oils take the constituents of a plant which are then mimicked by scientists in a lab. Earl of East's aim is to create an affordable but luxurious product, with a consistent scent all year round. Using a mixture of both botanical and essential oil allows them to do this. The oils in their candles are ethically sourced and fully traceable to origin.

Earl of East's candle wicks are made from cotton and unbleached linen, dipped in vegetable wax. This means your candle shouldn’t smoke or create a large flame.

This care and attention ensures a high-quality, beautifully scented product that is eco-friendly, vegan, and cruelty-free.
