Welcome to USTUDIO, a curated mini-department store for home accessories, design-led stationery, portable tech, self-care and indie fragrance brands, fashion accessories and small batch craft chocolate (the kind you’ll definitely want to hide from everyone else).

We go for products that are respected but not always on everyone’s radar. They are often harder to find but genuinely well-loved by the people who know them. Our range is broad but hyper-focused. From stationery to chocolate, games to portable speakers, fragrance to rainwear, we curate everything knowing we’d be happy to use these products ourselves (and we’re pretty fussy!).

Whether bought for yourself or someone else, we want it to feel worth having long after it’s been unwrapped.

We set up Bristol-based U Studio Design back in the early 2000s as a design studio working across contemporary graphics, illustration, print and pattern, product design, interiors, trade shows and packaging.​

USTUDIO is our ever-expanding passion project, driven by a relentless search for products and brands we would be proud to call our own, bringing them together in-store and online.

USTUDIO is also a real-life physical store in on the Gloucester Road in Bristol, UK. Here you can smell the fragrances, thumb the notebooks and road test those speakers. We have come a long way from where we started in 2004 with a wholesale business providing cards and paper products to other great stores across the world. This design business is still going strong - hop on over to ustudio.design for a closer look if you’re interested.

We’re very picky but in the best possible way and every product we stock is:

1. Curated with care: Only the good stuff makes it through and we spend way too much time hunting down products that make you smile - so you don’t have to.

2. From brands we believe in: Small makers, sustainable producers, clever designers.

3. Something we’d use ourselves: Life’s too short for things that don’t spark joy.
