Part-Time Retail Assistant | Weekends

Location: USTUDIO, Gloucester Road, Bristol
Hours: 11 hours per week (Saturday & Sunday), with additional weekday hours potentially available.
Pay: £10.85–£12.71 per hour, depending on age.
Start date: immediate (Oct '26)

We’re looking for a friendly, enthusiastic Retail Assistant to join our independent lifestyle store on Gloucester Road.

The ideal candidate will have a warm, personable approach, excellent customer service skills and a genuine interest in the products and brands we stock. From stationery and fragrance to skincare, cosmetics and tech, we’re looking for someone who’s curious, engaged and enjoys sharing their enthusiasm with customers.

The role involves:

  • Providing friendly, knowledgeable customer service.
  • Helping customers with brand and product discovery.
  • Processing online orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Receiving, checking and organising stock deliveries.
  • Maintaining shop displays and presentation.
  • Supporting the store management team with day-to-day tasks.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has previous retail experience or relevant transferable skills.
  • Is confident, approachable and is comfortable talking to people.
  • Has good attention to detail and can work independently.
  • Is happy to get involved in all aspects of running a busy shop.
  • Is available to work both Saturdays and Sundays. (Some weekday flexibility preferred.)

Hours: 11 paid hours per week, including a 7.5-hour Saturday shift (with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break) and 4 hours on Sunday.
