Edo Series Mini Hand-Thrown Stoneware Vase - Made in Copenhagen for Small Floral Arrangements

The Yuki Mini Vase by Studio Arhoj is a compact ceramic vase designed for small/medium floral arrangements. Part of the studio’s Edo Series, it reflects a more sculptural side of the Copenhagen workshop’s ceramics, where form and glaze interact to create pieces that sit comfortably between functional object and decorative accent.

Each Yuki Mini is wheel-thrown from stoneware and finished by hand in Studio Arhoj’s Copenhagen studio. The shape is softly rounded with a narrow opening, a form that naturally supports a few stems while keeping the arrangement balanced and contained. Its proportions make it easy to place on a shelf, desk or dining table without dominating the space.

Studio Arhoj’s reactive glazes give every Yuki Vase its individual finish. During firing the glaze moves and settles across the surface, producing layered colours, subtle speckling and organic textures. Because the glazing process varies slightly from piece to piece, every vase develops its own character while maintaining the same underlying form.

The Edo Series focuses on smaller decorative ceramics with expressive surfaces and tactile shapes. The Yuki Mini fits naturally within that approach — practical enough for fresh flowers, yet distinctive enough to stand alone as a ceramic object.

Compact, balanced and quietly expressive, the Yuki Vase is a versatile piece designed to bring a small touch of studio craft to everyday interiors.

Each Vase is individually wheel thrown and hand glazed by a member of the Studio Arhoj team, ensuring that no two dishes are exactly alike. Items will differ slightly, but will be within the colour spectrum of the vase pictured in the photo.

Studio Arhoj is a Copenhagen-based ceramics studio known for its bold glazes, soft forms and distinctive mix of Scandinavian design and Japanese ceramic tradition. Each piece is shaped, cast and finished by hand, with colours that shift and react during firing to create completely unique results.

From collectable figurines to everyday tableware, Studio Arhoj objects sit between function and expression. Produced in small batches, no two pieces are ever exactly the same which is part of what makes the studio’s work so recognisable and widely collected.
