The Munch Bowl by Studio Arhoj is a small porcelain bowl designed for relaxed, everyday eating. Part of the studio’s Tokyo Series tableware collection, it reflects the same balance of Scandinavian studio ceramics and Japanese-inspired proportions found throughout the range.
Each bowl is slip-cast from porcelain and finished by hand in Studio Arhoj’s Copenhagen workshop. The porcelain body gives the bowl a refined weight and smooth surface, while the gently rounded form sits comfortably in the hand or on the table.
The size makes the Munch Bowl particularly versatile. It works well for snacks, olives, nuts and sweets, but is equally suited to small servings of rice, yoghurt, sauces or desserts. The simple shape allows it to move easily between kitchen prep, casual dining and serving.
Like other pieces from Studio Arhoj, glaze plays a central role in the finished look. The studio’s reactive glaze techniques produce layered colour shifts, speckling and subtle textures during firing. Because each bowl is glazed and fired in small batches, slight variations occur from piece to piece, giving every bowl its own character while maintaining a consistent form.
Designed to mix with other cups and bowls from the Tokyo Series, the Munch Bowl is a practical piece of everyday porcelain — compact, functional and visually distinctive.

Any order over £85 is free delivery and will be shipped using a Tracked 48 service unless another service is specified.
