Moonmilk is a bright, aromatic fragrance that layers fresh citrus and black tea over a smooth woody base.
Lime and mandarin give it a crisp, lively opening, sharpened by black pepper and aromatic cardamom. As it settles, Mysore sandalwood and soft leather add warmth and depth without overwhelming the fragrance’s lighter, fresher character.
The name comes from a mysterious white substance found inside limestone caves, documented by 16th-century Swiss naturalist Conrad Gessner during his explorations of the Alps.
Stora Skuggan translates the strange, mineral atmosphere of the caves into something warm and tactile rather than cold, balancing citrus and spice against tea, leather and sandalwood.
