Made from recycled heavyweight nylon with a recycled ripstop lining, it balances durability with a lightweight feel. The fabric is machine washable, making it easy to keep looking its best through everyday use.

All Baggu's ripstop nylon styles are now made with 100% recycled nylon filament yarn (up from 40% recycled before). This 100% recycled nylon yarn is produced from pre-consumer waste, which saves scrap material from being landfilled, conserves petroleum resources, and reduces greenhouse gas emissions.

Baggu's products are ethically manufactured in China, where they have long-standing relationships with ISO 9001:2015- and ISO 140001-certified manufacturers. These manufacturing facilities are audited yearly by an independent third party and ensures they are upholding standards of occupational health and safety. Thier production team also visits yearly to inspect production and meet the teams producing the bags.

Waste + Durability

To minimize waste and increase durability, the reusable bags are assembled from one continuous piece of recycled nylon material, with the neck of the bag used to construct the carrying pouch. This is one of the ways in which Baggu works to eliminate waste during the actual construction of their products.

To clean the Recycled Ripstop Nylon and Heavyweight Nylon products, machine (or hand) wash cold and line dry.

Nearly all of the Canvas products are machine washable, with the exception of bags with hardware (such as top zip closures), which should be spot cleaned. Since heat can be damaging to the integrity of the fabric, we recommend line drying, as it is more gentle (and better for the environment!).
