Fantôme de Maules is a vivid green fragrance inspired by dense woodland, combining crisp leaves and citrus with aromatic herbs, moss and dry woods.
Bergamot, lemon and galbanum give the opening a sharp, leafy freshness before coriander, cardamom, lavender and forest flowers add a more aromatic character. Oakmoss, vetiver, sandalwood and cedar form an earthy, woody base, giving the fragrance the feeling of vegetation, forest floor and cool shade.
The fragrance takes its name from an enigmatic figure reportedly seen wandering the woods around Maules, a small village in French-speaking Switzerland. Known locally as Le Loyon, the masked, camouflaged figure was said to quietly observe the surrounding flora and fauna, disappearing back into the forest whenever disturbed.
Stora Skuggan uses this strange local story as the backdrop for one of its greenest, most woodland-like fragrances.

Vegan | All Stora Skuggan fragrances are vegan with the exception of Thumbsucker, which contains beeswax.
Standards | The fragrances conform to IFRA and EU cosmetic regulatory standards.
