This version has a nice matt charcoal black finish with great looking grills covering the 2 3/4" textile dome tweeters and 3.5" bass speaker. The size is small enough to carry into the garden or to the beach or just to move between locations in your home but it also has a nice weighty feel giving you belief in its audio prowess.

The battery life is good with up 30 hours of continuous playback (half this if you crank it up) and you can even use the device to charge a mobile phone using the USB charge point at the rear.

The speaker does not have an inbuilt battery and is designed to be a more permanent fixture in the home. It is still small enough to be carried easily between rooms but you have to plug it in each time.
