This best selling perfume is a romantic scent with a woody undertones. It has a  dominant Cedarwood and Sandalwood accord that's supplemented by a spicy Cinnamon Nutmeg complex with an earthy Vetiver note.

What's the difference between perfume oil and eau de parfum?

Eau De Parfum has an alcohol base and sprays on, while Perfume Oil is a roll-on with a blended base of safflower, sunflower, and rosemary oil. Perfume Oil has a more highly concentrated fragrance that stays more intimate and close to the body - apply to pulse points such as neck, chest and wrist, lightly rolling the ball on the skin to release the fragrance. Eau de Parfum allows the scent to project more away from the body.

Maison Louis Marie is the result of a long, storied family history with scent, beginning with Louis Marie Aubert du Petit Thouars: a pioneer in French botanical history, he was exiled to Madagascar, La Reunion and the Mauritius islands during the French revolution. There, he discovered a vast array of plant specimens, collecting over 2000 to bring back to France ten years later. Home again at last, he was elected a member of the prestigious Académie des Sciences.

Two Hundred Years Later

As a young girl, Marie Du Petit Thouars grew up in Belgium, playing in her grandfather's nursery and experimenting with scents in her mother’s greenhouse. This was the very beginning of Maison Louis Marie.

Maison Louis Marie use 100% recycled fibreboard and FSC certified paper in all of their gift boxes. They don't use any toxic coating on their papers, utilise soy ink and avoid using shiny foils or other toxic ink treatments to ensure that their boxes are 100% recyclable. They do their best to limit plastic consumption wherever possible in their products: they use glass bottles for their Eau de Parfums, Perfume Oils and Candles and never use cello wrapping.
