Double Broad Cursive Italic Nib with 14k Gold Finish
A double broad cursive italic nib, shaped to produce clear line contrast with minimal effort. The tip is gently rounded with flattened edges, giving a broad downstroke (approx. 1mm) and a fine cross stroke (around 0.2mm).
The “BB” designation refers to its double broad width, while the cursive italic grind keeps the writing fluid rather than sharp or rigid. Line variation appears naturally, without needing precise control.
Made for Tom's Studio fountain pens, the nib is tipped with iridium for durability and plated in 14k gold. Fully interchangeable within the system.
