Classic. Slightly Rounded Sunglasses. Bio Nylon Frame

The classic rounded shape of the Liam sunglasses make them easily wearable and suitable for most face shapes.

The Fern has a striking combination of green frame and smoke grey lenses and is suitable for both men and women.

  • Slim rectangular acetate frame
  • Lightweight construction with clean proportions
  • Softened corners balance the sharper silhouette
  • Minimal detailing and low-profile finish
  • UV400 protective lenses
  • Narrow shape with subtle early-2000s influence

The Liam sits between KOMONO’s sharper narrow frames and its fuller acetate styles. The lens height stays slightly more open than ultra-slim silhouettes, giving the frame a more balanced everyday feel.

The simplicity works in its favour — clean acetate lines, restrained branding and a shape that feels directional without becoming overly styled.

Deeply rooted within the Antwerp fashion environment, renowned for its distinct, radical vision, Komono renders the avant-garde accessible and affordable.

The Belgian Eyewear brand believes in fair pricing which means that the products are affordable yet can compete with the major luxury brands in terms of quality.

All Komono sunglasses pouches are made from recycled plastic bottles and are designed to be multifunctional and reusable. Our Sunglasses Black Collection uses Bioplastic made from sustainably cultivated, 100% natural castor beans using 45% less fossil fuel then regular plastic.

All of our KOMONO sunglasses have a UV400 protection and are created with the outmost care and dedication by our design team

Since day one, Komono wanted to have a positive impact on planet and people. Their search for new materials has not stopped since. Staying at the forefront of technological innovation, they have integrated materials that are both sustainable but also give them the freedom to design.

Style and Substance

Elegant and Eco-sensitive

Komono sunglasses are made of high-quality materials which are sensitive to the environment, such as Eco Acetate and Bio Nylon. Their soft pouches are made from recycled plastic bottles.

In addition, the bits and pieces left over from production get dyed with natural pigment to make a perfect black acetate which is then used to make new frames.

The end result is always boundary-breaking, modern, stunning eyewear.
