Springy and cheerful! Bumble by Hoptomist is the classic 1960's home decor, happy ornamental figurine in a smoked oak finish.
Bumble, the classic Hoptimist creation has a happy face and bouncy wobbly head which brings the little figurine to life and works as a symbol of positive optimism and good humour - something that we could all do with! In essence, Bumble is a continuation of a classic mid-century Danish design with a hint of humour that doesn't take itself too seriously.
Medium Smoked Oak Bumble has a height of 11cm and a diameter of 8.5cm and is crafted with Danish design heritage using FSC® certified oak (FSC-C166612) and steel spring for the ultimate head wobble.

Firmly convinced of the power of a smile, Gustav Ehrenreich created the joyful Hoptimist movement in the late 1960s. The goal was to design a figurine that would constantly remind us of the importance of remaining positive and optimistic. This was an era of extremes, being at once a decade of huge positive social change, “the happy 1960s,” but interspersed with often violent and disturbing events. The joy that Ehrenreich's design spread was welcome in turbulent times.
Today, the cheerful Hoptimists are part of Danish design history and creating joy around the world. The figures are available in four different sizes and a wide selection of colours that spread optimism, good humour and joy. There is a Hoptimist for every occasion and every person.
