Turmeric & Ginger | Nicaragua
Turmeric & lemongrass are from a collective of small farmers in Nicaragua. This collective helps farmers reach the marketplace by providing resources, financing and ensuring income through contract growing as they expand into growing more crops.
Lemongrass | Nepal
This lemongrass is sourced directly from a cooperative of farmers in the hilly terrain of eastern Nepal. This collective empowers farmers by making them not just employees, but owners through a co-operative model. It is harvested over a long growing season, handpicked and machine dried to preserve its citrus flavour.
