Authentic Japanese Ceremonial Matcha for Tea & Lattes
This Japanese ceremonial grade matcha powder is designed for anyone serious about traditional tea preparation or refined green tea drinks. Sourced from small producers in Kagoshima, Kyoto and Shizuoka, the shade‑grown leaves are hand‑plucked and stone‑milled to deliver a fresh, smooth texture with a clean, mellow flavour free from harsh bitterness.

It can be whisked into classic usucha or incorporated into milk drinks and chilled drinks for a creamy, vibrant green tea finish. Ideal for mindful mornings, casual tea rituals and matcha latte makers alike.
HOW TO MAKE MATCHA: Scoop 1 teaspoon of matcha
Slowly combine with 75ml of water at 80°C/175°F
Whisk to remove lumps and continue until bubbly & frothy
Sip as is or make a matcha latte
MAKE A LATTE:
Brews one 1 cup drink
Pour Matcha over approx 150ml of steamed milk or pour over iced milk
In older times, stone mills used to be rotated by hand, but nowadays the rotation is automated. The leaves are funneled down and ground in between two granite stones. The heat produced by the stone mills brings out the flavors of the leaves. Stone-ground Matcha has a deep flavor which a ball mill or a jet mill cannot make.
