Dick Taylor’s core range centres on single-origin cacao sourced from small producers around the world. Each bar is roasted and refined to bring out the defining characteristics of that origin, whether that’s fruit, acidity or deeper cocoa notes.

By keeping ingredients to a minimum and controlling the full bean-to-bar process, the emphasis stays on texture and flavour clarity. The result is chocolate that feels clean, structured and deliberately refined.
Dick Taylor Chocolate
Dick Taylor’s approach comes from an unexpected place. Before chocolate, the founders were boat builders, working with raw materials, precision tools and a process that demanded patience and control. That same mindset carries through here, applied to cacao instead of timber.
Most of their bars are built around just two ingredients (cacao and sugar) with no vanilla, emulsifiers or added cocoa butter. The goal is clarity: letting origin, fermentation and roast define the flavour without interference.
Alongside single-origin bars, the range also includes inclusion-led recipes, from nuts to fruit, handled with the same restraint, designed to complement rather than dominate the base chocolate.
