Step into the dark alleys of Crime City in MicroMacro: Showdown, the fourth and final standalone chapter in the award-winning detective puzzle series. With a brand-new sprawling city map and 16 fresh criminal cases, Showdown challenges you to use sharp observation and clever deduction to uncover motives, follow suspects across time, and bring the perpetrators to justice.
How to Play:
- Examine the huge black-and-white map, crammed with hundreds of tiny illustrated details.
- Read clue cards that pose questions about each case—who was the victim, where did it happen, what was the motive?
- Track characters as they move across the map through space and time, piecing together their story step by step.
- Confirm your answers by flipping cards, progressing until you’ve solved the crime in full.
Play alone or cooperatively (1–4 players), each case takes 15–45 minutes, and no prior games in the series are needed to jump in. Though it preserves the core mechanics fans love - iconic map puzzles, minimal text clues, and hidden narrative threads - Showdown adds a culmination of themes with continuity nods to past games and a rich detective complexity for longtime players.
