Here Comes the Son is soft and warm spin on a traditional fougère perfume.

Fougère perfumes are traditionally and typically defined as 'masculine' scents, but this unisex fragrance adds in sweet notes of ambrette, orange flower absolute, iris butter and soft sandalwood evoking a feeling of rebelliousness and a fearless self belief.

Here Comes The Son is a creation that started as an experiment in Malbrum founder Kristian’s private laboratory in 2018. The Perfumer Cristiano Canali was then appointed to continue the development, with the goal of challenging the masculine preconceptions of the fougère genre.

Malbrum perfumes are made from 'extrait de parfum', which is the most concentrated (and therefore expensive) form of fragrance, containing a very high percentage of fragrance oils compared to eau de parfum or eau de toilette. Due to its high concentration of fragrance oils, extrait de parfum has a very strong and long-lasting scent that can last for many hours, even all day. It is usually applied in small amounts to the skin or clothing - a little goes a long way.
