ANNI LU was founded in Copenhagen, Denmark in 2013 by creative director and designer Helle Vestergaard Poulsen. The name Anni Lu is a combination of the two persons inspiring Helle the most; Her late mother Anni and her daughter Luella.

Duty and Taxes

All overseas orders are currently shipped DAP (delivered at place.)

This means that the customer is responsible for any import duty, local tax and any handling surcharge by the shipping company.

Note : We do not charge UK VAT on export orders.

The current UK VAT rate of 20% will be removed from the order value at checkout if the delivery address is outside of the UK.

Please note, that if you refuse to accept the goods from our nominated courier for any reason other than clear and obvious damage to the box or shipping container or product, or do not provide the correct information necessary for delivery of goods and subsequently the products are returned to us, we reserve the right to charge a discretionary restocking fee of up to £10 per item.

Production

Their production follows the SMETA auditing program, which secures a high labour standard, health and safety, environment and business ethics – including no child labour. They test all materials to make sure they do not contain hazardous metals or chemicals and also support local charities in Bali and Kenya securing labour for women.

Anni Lu only makes carefully handmade jewellery and strives to make jewellery which will last for years, if they are taken care of. Every season, they make upcycled pieces of jewelleryand are constantly working to improve their freight and distribution to emit as little co2 as possible.
